How to measure your watch

Case diameter. Lay a ruler across the face, from one side of the case to the other, without the crown. Read it in millimeters.

Case thickness. Measure from the caseback to the top of the crystal, from the side.

Wrist size. Wrap a soft tape or a strip of paper just below the wrist bone, then measure its length.

Solid walnut, rounded where straps rest

The bar, the post and the base are solid walnut. The close-up shows the rounded edge of the bar, where the strap or bracelet rests, with no sharp corner to press into the leather.

Hung on a bar, watches are no longer stacked or left face down on a hard surface, where crystals and casebacks pick up marks. Wipe the walnut with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it out of direct sunlight and away from water.

Which height suits your watches?

Both versions share a 10.2 in (26 cm) bar and a 5.1 in (13 cm) base. The Large stands about 6.3 in (16 cm) tall, the Small about 3.7 in (9.5 cm). A closed strap or bracelet hangs over the bar.

Pick the Large to let a long bracelet hang freely, and the Small for a low shelf or a nightstand under a lamp. Measure the space where it will stand, and count how many watches you want on the bar at once.
